Hi there, Laurel Beard here with you today to share my 12 tags of Christmas project! Welcome to day 4 of our 12 day event! I love this time of year! I type this as I sit in my Christmas fuzzy socks and reindeer pjs! :) I was tasked with finding an technique that Sandy and I could use for our tags. Sandy, as well all know, is a watercolor expert, so it was a no brainer that I select watercoloring. We both are using Art Impression and Essentials by Ellen products. Our exact supplies are linked at the end of this post. I created a bunch of tags because I couldn't stop at just one.
Here is a look at the two stamps sets I used: Santa's Flight and Watercolor Wooden Door.
I also die cut a bunch of circles to use as my tag. I wanted to use a circle to show you that you don't have to have any fancy die cuts or shapes to create tags.
I stamped the Wooden Door with Versamark Ink and heat set with various embossing powders.
I used my MISTI stamping tool. That made inking up each tag a breeze.
Then it was time to watercolor. I used the Gansai Tambi 36 Count to watercolor all of my tags.
Once dry, I added some a hole and some twine.
On the back of each tag, I stamped this image from the Santa's Flight stamp set.
And there you have it! A bunch of colorful Christmas tags!!
