Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. Today we're celebrating Neat & Tangled's 5th Birthday by taking part in a very special blog hop. It's a week long blog hop celebration and it's going to be a lot of fun! If you want more information, you can always head to the Neat & Tangled blog.
Today I'm using the new Hooray stamp from Neat & Tangled along with some Distress Oxide inks to do a little rainbow stamping. I love this technique and it works especially well for large sentiment stamps like this Hooray stamp.
While I chose to do a rainbow stamping technique (ROYGBIV makes me a very happy girl), you can change up the colors to create your own color gradient. Try a sunset type gradient with pinks, oranges and yellows. Or try an ombre effect with several tones of the same color.
Now as you'll see, I was having so much fun, I got a little carried away. I created several cards. Since the cards are really ALL about that rainbow greeting, you don't need much else to make these cards really special.
I used the coordinating Hooray dies to die cut my sentiments after I stamped them. I love that the die set comes with both the word and the shadow, allowing you to use them in so many ways.
I love the look of rainbow greetings paired with some black and white patterned paper. I used the new Essentials by Ellen Modern Graphics Paper Pack for some of my backgrounds. Love the way those colorful images pop off that bold black and white patterned paper.
Since the Distress Oxide have the unique hybrid property, they are also great for stamping on darker colored card stock. I stamped the same rainbow greeting on some Neenah Desert Storm card stock. I love this look too!
You can also achieve this rainbow stamping look with other stamps as well. I used the same technique to ink up the All The Sprinkles stamp (also new from Neat & Tangled).
I'll show you exactly how I did this in the video tutorial below. Be sure to check it out.
As a part of their birthday celebration, Neat & Tangled is giving YOU gifts....well, at least a chance to win them. They'll be choosing winners from the comments all along the blog hop. They're giving away one $100 gift certificate, and two $50 gift certificates to the Neat & Tangled online shop. Be sure to leave a comment at every stop on every day of the hop for more chances to win. Winners will be announced on Sunday, August 13, 2017 on the Neat & Tangled blog.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed these projects! Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day!
XOXO
