The abstract spots paper from the Modern Graphics Pack is fun to use in this way--suggestive of an animal print. Cheetah, maybe?
You can even tint the paper, which gives it even more of a faux "fur" look...
I tinted very lightly, which shows up great in real life, but it's a little harder to show on camera.
TIPS:
- When using a bold black & white pattern like this one, it can help to use bold colors on the florals.
- Determine whether you want the pattern to serve as an accent OR be the dominant focal on the project to help keep the project visually "balanced".
- Try tinting the paper by using Copic markers or by sponging ink over the pattern to further suggest animal fur.
Happy Mundane and I hope you are having as much fun with this new collection of paper as I am!
