Hello everyone! Are you enjoying Tonic mousse week? I must admit - I was pretty intimidated by them but once I got going, they were really fun, rather easy and so pretty!!! For my project today, I combined tonic mousse with stamps and water to create a faux watercolor effect!
Apply mousse directly to your stamp. I used a little craft spatula to apply the mousse.
Next, spritz the stamp (with mousse already applied) with water. OH MY GOSH this Tonic mister is heavenly.
Stamp directly only your paper. I could actually get at least 3 stamps before I had to re-ink.
Once dry, it was time for a sentiment. I used the Essentials by Ellen Brushstroke Hello and die cut it out of black cardstock.
To ground my sentiment, I added a strip of washi tape. You could easily achieve this same technique with patterned paper.
Lastly, I accented the die cut hello with enamel dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me! I hope you're feeling inspired and willing to try your hand with some mousse.
XOXO,
Heather
