Happy #TexturalTuesday ! It's Lisa with you on the blog to share some Waffle Flower Crafts AWESOMENESS!! I've been a huge fan of Waffle Flower's since the very beginning. I just LOVE the designs that Nina has brought to Waffle Flower Crafts. I'll be showing one of the new design today that I hope you adore as much as I do.
I colored the bear Copic Markers in the following colors E51, E53, E57, and E59. I'm no pro so no detailed shots of my coloring. ;) And I did use the 0 Colorless Blender quite a bit. (Life saver!!)
These are the yellow Copic Marker that I used for the bird on the bear's head. Y11, Y21, and Y35. (I colored a second bear and liked it better without the dots that are visible in the photo below. To me, it looked like chicken pox so I scrapped the dots.)
And, of course, Copic Marker Color R20 for the rosy cheeks.
After the bear was colored, I stamped and colored the tiny little floral bouquet. This will go in its paws after the bear is die-cut. So cute! (This will also be die-cut.)
I stamped the two floral pieces on a 4" x 4" square of cardstock using Taylored Expressions Oreo Ink using my MISTI for precision alignment.
Using waaaay too many markers to show I colored in the floral pieces. I shaded both sides using the C1 marker and blended it out with the 0 Colorless marker.
I wanted to make sure the Bear and bird wasn't sitting on a blank space. Using Spun Sugar and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks I blended the two inks softly into the center and around the top corners.
The rest of the card came together very easily. Some twine, beautiful patterned paper, and mirrored confetti. The sentiment was stamped onto vellum using Versamark ink and heat embossed using black EP. I cut the vellum into a banner shape, put a thin strip of Matte Medium at the top and tucked it under the twine.
As usual, I like to add a few close- up photos for you to see some of the detail. :)
You can sure see that Wink of Stella on the bouquet, huh?! And the bears rosy cheeks are too cute.
Okay, that one I just love because you can REALLY see the colors in the flowers. So bright and happy.
