Usually, the Pin-Sights Challenge is an inspiration challenge held on the 3rd Thursday of each month. The challenge is based on a Pinterest inspired piece that Laurel chooses to spark your imagination and creativity, sort of a jump start for ya! Today is a little different due to the blog hop. :) Be certain to stay tuned this Thursday when more inspiration is revealed. Here is MY inspiration piece based on the photos that Laurel provided for the Pin-Sights Challenge.
I created my card using the Bamboo Rose Stamp Set and the Label Love Stamp Set from Altenew.
There's touches of pink, LOTS of different shades of blue, glitter for my sparkle (hard-to-see..darn it!), a woodgrain background, yes, it's there, just underneath my card front. Different elements of distress with the splattered paint. And, of course, the flowers, are self explanatory. I think I did I pretty good job. :)
The whole card front was water-colored using the Kuretake Gansai Tambi 36 Color Set.
I added a little bit of a white pigment pen in some areas, then I added glue on top, and sprinkled glitter over that. It turned a grey-ish color...but it works!! Yay for happy accidents.
After the label was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with Wow! EP Super Fine - Clear Gloss I added Small 3D Foam Squares on the back to give it dimension.
