Hello hello! Happy Wednesday! I am a sucker for simple techniques. Lets face it - I don't like to get messy! I thought it would be fun to share a few simple technique that I often forget but wanted to spend some time sharing here - paper piecing and coloring a background!
First, I colored in my ice cream truck.
Then, I stamped the shade of the ice cream truck on a piece of patterned paper.
I cut it out very carefully.
Then, I adhered it in place on the ice cream truck.
Next, I colored in my ice cream man and begging doggy.
Then I die cut all of them out.
First I die cut the hill and then I added Copic coloring keeping most of the color towards the top.
Then I added blue to the background.
I die cut it out to create a pretty detailed panel. I love the look of these custom colored backgrounds.
And then I adhered everything on and to a card base.
Lastly, I tied some twine around the top to match the bows and ice cream truck shade. So fun!
Thanks so much for stopping by to share part of your day with me! You are so sweet! ;)
XOXO,
Heather
