Hi everyone! Welcome back to another edition of Satur-YAY! We're celebrating the weekend by getting our craft on! And today's project is yum, yum, yummy!
I'll be using some of Hero Arts' newest color layering stamps to make a fun, colorful birthday card. I wanted to show you that you can use these color laying stamps without a whole lot of ink colors. I'll be layering several layers of the same ink color to build up the color on each ice cream scoop and create contrast. In order to do this, I'll be using my MISTI tool to make sure that I stamp the layers perfectly on top of each other.
I also added some fun sparkle, using Wow Bonding Powder and some Warm Diamond glitter from Elizabeth Craft. This bonding powder is a great way to add glitter, flocking or other fine embellishments to your project.
I'll show you exactly how I created this card in the video tutorial below. Be sure to check it out!
It's your turn now to head on in to your craft room and get to craftin'. I'd love to see what you're creating on this fine Satur-YAY Be sure to post it on social media and use the hashtag #EllenHutsonSaturYAY so I (and everyone else) can check it out!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you've enjoyed this fun and yummy project. Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day.
