Good Wednesday morning and welcome to the CLASSroom. I love creating projects with die cut sentiments and enhancing them with gorgeous decorative frames. My project today was made using the Impression Obsession Best Wishes and the Ornate Oval Frame paired with the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.
Attach the white scalloped rectangle to the blue layer using ATG adhesive.
Apply thin strips of mounting tape to the back of the blue layer and attach it to the card base.
Cut the frame and sentiment. I like using the three frame sections attached together.
Turn the frame sections face down and line them up inside each other. Place a few anchoring pieces of double stick tape around the frame to hold the sections snug in place.
Apply double stick tape around the whole frame to complete securing the three sections together.
Apply small pieces of mounting tape around the back of the frame and attach it to the card base.
Attach small pieces of mounting tape to the back of the sentiment. Normally I attach the finer die cut sentiments with rolled up double stick tape but the letters on the best wishes are a little more hefty and I like popping them up with mounting tape to be on the same level as the frame.
Line the sentiment up inside the frame and attach.
I think this would be a perfect card for a birthday, anniversary, wedding or retirement. The blue frame and sentiments really pops against the white background.
