Anyone else ever feel like they have a constant shortage of appropriate boy cards? I'm always at a loss so I'm thrilled to have the new Avery Elle Stoked set in my stash!
First I stamped the skater boy image.
Then I colored him in with my Copics.
I love playing with Copic markers!
I used the coordinating die cut to cut him out.
Then I stamped a sentiment on a pierced banner.
I decided to add a stamped lightening bolt to the underside of my skateboard.
Next, I stamped and die cut the coordinating stars and pulled out a piece of patterned paper. I seriously love the 6x6 Neutral Collection from Avery Elle.
Then I trimmed it to size to adhere on my card base.
I love a patterned paper base for boy cards. It always seems to work.
Next to add a focal point, I used a pierced tag die cut.
Then I adhered the banner with dimensional foam and then trimmed part of the tag off and tucked it in behind the banner.
Then I added the skater to the front.
Finally I added a sprinkling of stars and the card is done!
Thanks so much for joining me in the classroom today! I hope you have a great day!
