Hello crafters -- Sharon Harnist here, joining in on the current Mix It Up Challenge here at Ellen Hutson LLC, to combine Essentials by Ellen with products from Taylored Expressions (see full details HERE). I combined Taylored Expressions Sit & Chat stamps and coordinating dies with TE's fabulous Felt, along with the beautiful Essentials by Ellen Many Thanks die, to create this thank you card for some sweet friends who just helped us move (bold products are linked below in the supply section):
I figured the cute sofa would be representative of them helping us move everything in the house! I apologize for my lack of step-out photos for this card, but I was having trouble just sorting through boxes to find the things I needed to even make a card, let alone trying to find my camera ... I didn't think about that until about half way through the process!
But I did find my awesome Taylored Expressions Split Pea Felt to stamp the darling sofa with Memento Olive Grove ink -- I love the great texture it gives the sofa! The pillows were stamped with Teal Zeal Memento ink, onto Robin's Egg Felt. Both were die cut with their coordinating Sit & Chat dies. The awesome Essentials by Ellen Many Thanks die was cut from gold foil cardstock.
To finish the card, I die cut Neenah Solar White cardstock with Taylored Expressions Ray of Sunshine die and cut off about the lower third of it. It was glued onto a Solar White card base on which I scored a horizontal line about a third of the way from the bottom edge, using the score blade on my Fiskars Paper Trimmer. Lastly, I cut a Solar White frame for my sofa using TE's Label Stacklet 8. The sofa and pillows were glued to the frame using Multi Medium Matte and the frame was adhered to the card base using X-Press It Foam Tape.
