Hello Hello! Welcome to the classroom today! Sadly, I wasn't able to get my post up last Wednesday post so I'm thrilled to be back after being without internet for over a week! Wow that was hard! I missed being here so much! Today's card is a fun one - a watercolor floral canopy using the new Avery Elle Canopy stamp set!
First, I stamped the canopy using my MISTI and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
Then, I spritzed the card stock with water to prep the surface for watercolors.
Slowly, I added colors in the scheme of a rainbow.
I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors - I love how they apply!
Once it was dry, I adhered it to a card base created with the Sweet Scallops die. I need a scallop intervention!
To add some splatter, I used my gold watercolor that comes in the Gansai Tambi watercolor set. I love how versatile this is!
Next I needed a sentiment! Since it wasn't totally dry, I decided to use some gold foil paper adhered to 3 layers of white card stock.
Positioned on the card - so pretty! So much easier than stamping too because I could move it around to get the perfect placement!
Lastly, I topped it off with sequins - Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear!
Just dreamy, don't you think?!
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing part of your day with me!
XOXO! Heather
