Hi! Carly here with another #throwbackthursday!
I've been celebrating a week of rainbow inspiration my blog so it only made sense to check out the rainbow projects in The Classroom archives. And I wasn't disappointed!!! I found lots of cute projects and I think we might need to crown Heather as the queen of awesome rainbow cards, Check them out:

And here's my card:
I started by die cutting a rainbow from watercolor paper. Then I used Distress Inks to watercolor each beam.
I traced my rainbow die on scrap cardstock and cut it out with scissors. Then I used it as a background for my watercolored rainbow beams.
With my rainbow ready, I die cut the smaller of the Essentials by Ellen Envelope Sliders from solar white and I cut a 4 x 5-1/4 piece of Icy Mint. I used a craft knife to cut the slit to match my envelope slider. (TIP: Check out Julie's awesome video about the Envelope Sliders.)
I adhered my folded envelope over the matching slit.
I stamped and embossed my sentiment.
I put my rainbow into my envelope and added clouds (one on the front and one on back) on top.
I had to cut a little bit of my rainbow off the bottom so it would fit behind the Icy Mint panel and move correctly. I also added a little cardstock "bumper" at the end to keep it from pulling all the way out.
Finally I used the Scrapbook Adhesive EZ Runner Micro to put a super thin line of adhesive on the back of my Icy Mint panel and adhere it to an A2 solar white card.
Have a great day!
xo, Carly
