I don't live "near" a Starbucks, so for me, it's a real treat to indulge in fancy coffee. It also takes a loooong time to earn the rewards. The Starbucks app is one of my favorites and one day, when I was tilting my phone back & forth, watching the stars chinkle around in the cup, and seeing how many more stars I would need to earn the next free beverage of my choice, I couldn't help but think how cute a shaker card based on the app would be! Stinkin' cute, right?! Of course, I'm right!!!
Also noted that I could actually get two cards out of my initial idea, so I went for it. :)
SIDEBAR: I was completely mistaken about Peerless Metallic Watercolors; for some reason, I had it in my head that they were opaque. Welcome to Village Wrong, Julie! They are TRANSPARENT. It says so on the bottle. Flog me now... sigh... *INSERT ROLLING EYEBALLS* I also didn't really need any water--since I wasn't working on actual watercolor paper, it would have deteriorated the patterned paper I was using quickly.
This actually worked in my favor on the above design; I just lightly painted it over the sentiment, which you can see through the beautiful sheer gold color! *SWOON*
So, what did I do with the leftover to-go coffee cup? Foiled it. Added a fun sentiment from this charming stamp set, called Good Sayings, by PinkFresh Studio!

Hope your Mundane is filled with positive vibes only! ;)
P.S. How do you like your coffee? Fancy or black?
