Woot-y, woot-y! I love sharing part of my day here and I am fully in the Halloween mood at my house, so I thought it would be fun to share a spook-tastic card.
First, I stamped out images in Memento black ink. I wasn't sure what I wanted to use exactly, so I stamped enough so I won't have to stamp again. :)
I colored in the monster first - I stayed pretty light on his coloring as I really love the light shades.
Play around with your markers to add detailing - notice those dots on his back?
Next, pumpkins - because I thought it would be fun to have him "popping" from a pumpkin patch.
Die cut. I use masking tape to hold my dies in place.
It's so cute it's scary. :)
Next, I got to work on a background. I spritzed my watercolor card stock and then adhered it to my craft table with masking tape. Then, I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors to create my background. These watercolors are amazing!
Once it was dry, I added a little gold dusting by splattering my watercolors.
Then I gave it a nice finished border. It's a little wonky here but it relaxes great.
Adhered to the card base.
I stamped a custom sentiment.
And then added a speech bubble. I like stamping the speech bubble second because I can align by sentiment perfectly.
Finally, I adhered everything to the card and added some extra stars for accents.
Spooky cute, right? Thank you so much for sharing part of your day with me. I hope you have a wonderful day!
XOXO, Heather
