Tomorrow our Holiday 2015 Release debuts--there's been a LOT o' scurrying and running around behind the scenes! :)
Today, I get to provide you with a sneak peek at a new stamp and matching die set called "Thankful"; I was experimenting with Hero Arts Inks and Copic Markers and loved the vivid results I got using this combination!
The secret? Don't use black; the formulas in the ink and the Copic Markers can normally cause one or the other to bleed out, muddy, and otherwise make a hot mess. BUT, if you use colors that coordinate together, and are closer in hue, you can achieve a lovely effect! If I inadvertently went over the image lines, I didn't end up with mud! YAY!!!
Try it! You'll like it! I think it's a great alternative to stamping images with black or brown, when you want to color them in with alcohol markers.
