Diamonds are always a good idea--especially for an engagement card! I had a lot of fun combining two popular favorites these days: watercolor (in this case, with Distress Stains) and gold foil!
This design features a DIY embellishment that is super easy to create using circle dies and the diamond from the "You Rock" die set!
Normally, you make sure that the FOILED area of the transfer sheet is being pressed against the adhesive so that the foil will transfer (ugly side against the adhesive, pretty side up)...
I did get in a bit of a hurry and inadvertently pressed blank/already used areas of the mylar sheet to the adhesive in a few spots and when I lifted the sheet up, the adhesive foam was SO sticky, I accidentally tore away bits of the foam surface along with the sheet and kinda mangled those spots there in the foam. I recommend making sure you are pressing areas of the sheet that still have foil on them to the adhesive.
I did figure out a way to work with it, without scrapping the whole project at that point, and hopefully my bungle will save you from the same fate, LOL! :)
