Hello everyone! My name is Sandy Allnock, and I'm delighted to be filling in on Hello Monday! I was inspired by some cool new products and I hope you enjoy my embossing and resisting!
First - the inspiration! I went to Ellen Hutson's studio and got to play with the new Cosmo Cricket 8x8 pad. In the video you can see the shine that the varnish and foil provide - so much fun! I made two cards to share with you from that before getting to my project.
Those were both made by just adding watercolor! Super easy, as I show you in the video.
The resist got me thinking of a card I made with the Bokeh stamp set recently (that post using Copics is HERE)...and I wanted to try that idea but using a watercolor resist instead. And oh my. What fun!

Wasn't that just the most fun? You could even go crazy and add some white zentangling or doodling on some of the flowers and leaves as I did in that original card.
And one other idea - what if these were birthday balloons instead of flowers? Oh my. The ideas keep coming...I think I better sign off before I make another video! :)
