Today I'm sharing a beautiful faux watercolor technique that I hadn't tried until recently--I guess it's been around, but apparently, I not only live on a rock, but I live under it as well! ppppffffffttttt!!!
Anyway, I thought it would be particularly suited to the leaves in the Autumn Acorns set! Let me warn you, tho... Have plenty of paper ready to stamp up--this is a fantastic way to make your own background papers or do quite a few cards in one sitting. The baby wipe will eventually dry up, of course. You can rejuvenate it with more ink, but i don't know that the wipe itself is worth "saving" once you've finished. Perhaps if you had the right container, but I didn't have anything handy. It doesn't require a lot of ink anyway, so I didn't bother trying to figure out a way to save my "amazing technicolor pad". ;)
I love how easy it makes getting a watercolor look with solid stamp images, and you don't need watercolor paper or a brush to do it! WOWZA!!!
Enjoy the video here or in HD on our YouTube Channel, and we so appreciate your taking a moment to give it a thumbs up! Thank you also for subscribing and watching!
Happiest of Mundanes to ya'!
