Most of the cards I make are for pretty happy occasions, but now and then, as we all do, there are times when I need a design that sends care and love to someone during a difficult time.
This feather die by Memory Box and the sentiment from the Remember set by Hero Arts were exactly what I needed to convey what I felt for someone very dear to me.
Touches of gold, with the foil paper, twine and shimmer spray were the perfect compliment to the woodgrain paper and vellum feathers.
This could also be adapted to create a lovely wedding card by simply altering the sentiment. I typically struggle with sketches but I find this layout to be a very good stand-by, when I'm having a hard time determining exactly what to do.
