I was super excited when she accepted my invitation to do a guest post here in the CLASSroom showcasing a watercolor technique for you!

Hello! I am so excited to be guest designing at the CLASSroom today! When I was asked to do a project using a water color technique, I said sure! One can never have too much of water color techniques, right? :)
What is convenient about water coloring is that you can use anything that is water based to apply color; be it your dye inks, Distress inks, Distress markers, water based markers like Memento markers, stains, mists, re-inkers, or just your plain old palette of water colors.
In today’s card, I used Distress inks, which I find the most convenient to use; simply transfer some ink on to a craft sheet and there you will have your paint palette, plus there is a large variety of colors to choose from.
The technique you are about to see in the video works best with outline images. I usually use flower images, but this time I tried something different, and used a fish image from Altenew’s Ori Kami set. The sentiment was constructed from two different stamps, as you will see in the video. Enjoy the video here or head over to our YouTube channel to watch it there!
