The new Savvy Stamps release has arrived and they are so much FUN--I just adore their fresh, hand-drawn style!!!

I decided to go for a multi-colored effect using some pretty Avery Elle pigment inks--pigment inks work awesome for this technique because they are much slower drying than dye and you can blend them quite easily, right on the stamp.

The other trick with selective inking (a.k.a. ommitting) is to use Sponge Daubers--my personal favorites are the ones with the airtight caps--makes it so easy to store them without making a mess... or having to wash 'em. ;)
