The revival of watercoloring in card-making makes me so happy! I've gotten an early (for once) start on my Father's Day card, and this one was inspired by my dad's love of nature and the outdoors.
I didn't have a large sized stag stamp, but with the Memory Box Classic Deer die, I was able to make a stencil and mask, and use that to guide me in watercoloring the image--you'd almost think I free-handed him, wouldn't you?
The "dad" tag was made from a scrap of patterned paper using the Sizzix Eclips digital die-cutting machine--I love that it has a great built-in library of useful shapes and I can use any font on my computer to die cut exactly what I need, to the size I need--truly unlimited creative options!
You can watch the video here or on our YouTube Channel. Enjoy!
Happy Mundane!
