Hello, Monday 03.17.2014

If you've never heard of Iron Craft, you really need to go check it out! It is the delightful and fun paper crafting spin-off of the TV show Iron Chef, and created by Chaitali Narla, who is a software engineer by day, and a paper crafter by night!

I've had the honor & pleasure of dueling it out in a craft challenge in the first season of Iron Craft and it was a total BLAST!!! Here's a link to that particular episode: Iron Craft #19

Well, Chaitali is back with season 2 of Iron Craft and I had the privilege of being her first guest on this season's opener, which will feature video this year! WOW!!!

EEP!!! With all the great new stuff arriving, the winner will have a LOT of fun deciding what to add to their paper craft supplies, right?!

I also wanted to share a still shot of the design I made for the challenge--you can also see it and Chaitali's design at Iron Craft--I LOVE the different elements she chose to combine and how she mixed it up to come up with her darling card! WOOT!!!

I was initially daunted by exactly how to approach the challenge, and then... Well, if you watch the video, you'll hear me explain what I did and why! *grin* Also, part of the challenge was also to not use any stamps. Not even for a greeting. Whaaaaattt??!! That was actually the hardest part for me, as I love LOVE my word stamps! Lolly!!! But, the alpha stickers in the Mon Ami Collection Pack by Basic Grey saved the day. WHEW!!!

And, oh gosh, I didn't realize how much I use my hands when I talk... I hope you don't get dizzy watching the video!  *chuckle*
