As I mention in this week's "webisode" (ha ha!), watercolor is probably my most favorite coloring method--it just makes me happy to slop the color around, LOL!
When I first began stamping over 20 years ago, the first watercolor method I learned is one I still use today--it's kind of a cheat, but on the other hand, I love multi-uses of any supply or tool (in this case, the new Distress Mini Ink Pads) I have in my arsenal, don't you?!
I also made a recent discovery that has me bouncing off my chair--I can watercolor on Bazzill Basics Card Shoppe Marshmallow Card Stock. I was already in love with the weight and surface texture of this paper, and now??!! Um, pardon me while I fist pump. Majorly. *grin*
DISCLAIMER: Card Shoppe card stock is not a watercolor paper; it is a smooth, 100# weight card stock. As I mention in the video, if your brush is too wet or you over saturate the paper with water, it will pill.
In most cases, I prefer to work with a waterbrush--I tend to have more control, and they are perfect for a girl who tends to be a bit clumsy in the studio *sheepish grin*, but you could just as easily use a nice brush (I love this set) and a small jar of water.

Happy Mundane!
