I've always admired designers who can pull off collage--they make it seem so effortless. But, oh my, do I ever struggle with it--and, when I say "struggle", that is kind of an understatement...
But, I keep trying. :)
I think this one worked for me because I stuck with a vey limited number of elements, splashes of color combined with a balance of white space, and used some tissue paper to diffuse some of the elements, but not obstruct them entirely.
I could be wrong about this analysis. But, either way, I'm very pleased with the end result. Plus, there's a bird on it. Ya' can't go wrong when you put birds on things, right?! *grin*
