Today we are excited to welcome Paula Cheney back for her second season of our 12 Tags series! I was absolutely thrilled when Paula accepted my invitation this year as I know she is so busy now that she works with Tim and his talented crew.
Once again Paula shares detailed directions on how to create this shabby, elegant tag. You can find more of Paula's beautiful and inspiring work on her blog One Lucky Day.
Thank you for fitting us into incredibly busy schedule this year Paula and sharing this vintage inspired tag with us here today! -Ellen
I’m so excited to be joining in on 12 Tags with a Feminine Touch again! I made a simple tag of stacked packages using the Sizzix Tim Holtz Bigz die - Packages and Bows. I love this Bigz die because it cuts each package individually so you can make your stack of packages as big or as little as you wish. Great for Christmas, birthdays or everyday! Enjoy!
step 1- Cut squares of Grungeboard. Adhere paper from Merriment Paper Stash. One pattern per square.
step 2 - Arrange the squares, paper side down on the Sizzix Tim Holtz Bigz die - Packages and Bows. Run through Vagabond machine.
step 3 - Cut bows from plain Grungeboard.
step 4 - Use Distress Ink Vintage Photo to age packages. Spread a thin layer of Distress Stickles- rock candy over packages. Set aside to dry.
step 5 - Color Ranger #8 tag manila tag with Distress Ink. Stamp tag with holly stamp from the Stampers Anonymous - Christmas Time set using Sap Green Archival Ink.
step 6 - Lightly spray tag with Perfect Pearls Mists - Heirloom Gold.
step 7 - Once dry, stack packages on tag so they overlap. Use foam tape on upper edge of each package.
step 8 - Stamp Merry Christmas sentiment from the Stampers Anonymous Mini Holidays 5 set using Black Archival ink. Add red and cream Trimmings tie at the top.
