Hello and welcome to the 4th day of 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist. I love making scenes with dies and especially for Christmas projects. Birch trees seem to be more appropriate for masculine projects but I decided to give them a feminine twist with my all white and blue scene.
I covered the tag with deep blue cardstock to create contrast for the white images. I stamped the fir trees with white pigment ink and embossed with white embossing powder.
I used a tiny brush to paint on falling snow with white reinker and embossed with white embossing powder.
I cut the birch trees, applied rolled up glue dots to the back of each tree and popped them up over the embossed trees. I couldn’t resist adding a couple white birds to the tree branches.
I cut three strips of white cardstock, crimped with my wave crimper and attached to the ground area of the scene.
I tucked pine sprigs in between the snow layers and attached with glossy accents.
I popped up the sled silhouette in the scene with mounting tape to add one more layer of dimension.
I hope my snowy sledding scene tag has inspired you to get your dies and a tag out and create a scene of your own.
