I finished my tag, and then hesitated... it's not necessarily "feminine". But, it's not necessarily "masculine" either! *chuckle*
I may not know which way to classify it, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out and it's totally ME!!! Hah!
My tag features a "shaker" glassine envelope and some whimsical stamps by Savvy!
After stamping the greeting on a piece of Solar White that was cut to fit inside the envelope, I die cut some snowflakes from Natural White card stock and set them aside--initially, I was planning to put them inside, but they were a tad too large and obliterated the greeting too much, so I reserved them and moved on.
Confetti has been popular in the paper crafts world lately, and I'm rather keen on it myself, so I punched a bunch of small circles (mostly 1/8" and 1/4" size) from some Natural white, aqua and red card stocks to slip into the envelope--they made perfect filler and were small enough to allow the words to be seen easily.
Made my own custom striped paper by cutting some aqua colored card stock into 1" strips the same width as my base tag, which is made from Natural White and glued them into place.
After angle-punching the corners, I also made a "reinforcer" from red card stock for some contrast and glued that into place on the tag.
The Sweater Mittens by Savvy are so cute--white embossed those on red card stock very quickly and cut them out and 3D mounted them onto the tag
Added one of those snowflake die cuts and some velvet ribbon--I love how MOD it turned out!
So fun and festive! Love this color combo for the Holidays, too!
Thanks for joining me today--I hope you are getting in some crafty time this Holiday season!
