Hiya! I'm so excited to be presenting a Color Swatch Challenge in celebration of World Card Making Day!
These colors are very contemporary, but lend themselves well to a wide range of possibilities, no matter what your personal art style may be! I have an example to share that I hope will inspire you in new ways!
The large floral image in the Lauderdale stamp set was clear embossed, and then Adirondack Dye Inks (see supply list for specific colors) were sponged over the top to color them in quickly.
To provide a little more contrast and a hint of pattern, the Friend Definition was stamped with Snow Cap pigment over black card stock and used to accent the focal panel.
Did you know the Donut Edger Punch makes a great "scallop" edge if you tuck it just a wee bit further under the top layer of paper? Cool, eh?!
Stamping the sentiment onto the distressed red toned card stock (Indie Bloom 6x6) and then framing it with white gel pen gives it some visual weight and helps tie the design altogether.
