Welcome back - I hope you are having a relaxing Memorial Day weekend! Don't forget to visit yesterday's post and answer the question at the end of the post to be eligible for the blog candy (3 new Lockhart stamps, Mykonos 6x6 Paper Pad and Memory Box Button Die.) You have until Monday night midnight - so don't delay.
The two new garden gate stamps are amongst my all-time favorite Lockhart images! What is it that makes garden gates SO appealing?
Today's post is going to be short and sweet because tomorrow's is going to be LONG winded. I will be sharing step-by-step photos detailing how I colored the weathered wood garden gate.
When creating an ensemble simply select coordinating elements and repeat them in each project. Keeping it clean and simple makes this so much easier.
TIP: When stapling an item to your cardfront rather than always lining the staples up consider criss-crossing them or placing them at jaunty angles.
The ticket from Rocket Age's Miscellany kit was still sitting on my studio table - it was meant to be. The colors coordinated perfectly and the idea of visiting a beautiful garden... Yeah for the little things in life!
