I have a fun and different watercoloring technique to share with you today -- using your Copics!

I love the look of a watercolored image and you can achieve it, using Copic Various Ink Refills! To get started, I stamped this beautiful Lockhart Stamp Company Phalaenopsis image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto an Arturo Single Notecard (similar to watercolor paper):
Then I used Copic Various Ink Refills to "watercolor" the orchid image:
To do this, place drops of Various Ink onto a paint palette and use a water reservoir brush filled with Copic Colorless Blender Solution to pick up the ink color and watercolor it onto the Arturo paper. Here are the ink colors I used (listed below):
On the palette, you can add Colorless Blender Solution to any color to lighten it, or mix any Various Ink Refills you'd like, to make new colors!
I love how the Y21 golden background turned out -- similar to an old Tuscan wall! 3D foam squares attach the watercolor piece to the card base. The Hero Arts sentiment was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink onto cream cardstock, cut into a banner shape, and then machine stitched to the card base. More machine stitching attaches the pretty October Afternoon 5 & Dime papers to the 4" x 8" card base.
I hope you have fun giving Copic watercoloring a try! ~ Sharon
