GLITZ CHALLENGE
It's time to get sparkly! I've fallen in love with all the gorgeous colors of Glitter Ritz glitters Ellen carries and wanted to challenge YOU to get sparkly! Create a project that shimmers and shines in some way, by using your favorite "glitzy" product! Here's my sample:
My card uses a piece of 5.50" x 4.75" Webster's Pages-Hello Beautiful Journaling Card. I chose this paper because it has quite a few of Ellen's Color Trend challenge colors for today in it! I mounted a portion of the journaling card onto a Memory Box Crimson notecard. Then I made a frame by die cutting a piece of Be Creative 8.5" x 11" sheet adhesive with Spellbinders Labels Six die set:
I cut another frame from cardstock and adhered the Be Creative frame to that, for stability. Then I removed the front adhesive liner and did the Burnished Velvet technique by covering the adhesive with Glitter Ritz Opaque Micro Fine Glitter in Ice Blue and rubbing/pressing the glitter into the tape ... what a beautiful look and a quick and easy sparkly frame!
Next, I stamped the Hero Arts Create Your Own Journey sentiment with Ranger Adirondack Cranberry dye ink onto Neenah Natural White cardstock, die cut it with the Labels Six die and sponged the edges with Ranger Antique Linen Distress ink. I topped the sentiment with my glitter frame, popped up on foam tape. A Webster's chocolate Bloomer finishes my card. ~ Sharon
