On today’s project Inchies and Twinchies were used with a couple of Spellbinder’s Nestabilities shapes to die cut approximately halfway through them.
On this Twinchie an Oval Nestabilities (next to smallest oval in the "Classic Large" oval set) was used.
The middle section was then peeled away exposing a felt-like center.
This was done with a couple of Twinchies. One of the ovals was embossed using Tim Holtz's "Swirls" Embossing Folder and then glued back into place on the Twinchie. Except for the embossed areas, the oval section is flush with the Twinchie when put back into its “spot”.
With the second Twinchie the felt-like center was left exposed for an interesting look.
The oval was placed onto another unaltered Twinchie for some dimension.
Here are all three variations together showing the mix and match.
For the card, three Inchies were used. These were die cut using Spellbinder’s Circle Nestabilities (smallest circle in the "Standard Small" circle set). Once the center circles were removed, both the Inchies and the center circles were colored with Copics and stamped with a couple of small floral images.
After coloring and stamping, the center circles were glued back flush into the Inchies.
These are so easy and quick to make and really deliver a fun accent. The sentiment, border, floral images and doll are all from Hero Arts “Dolls” stamp set.
