Collage painting is fun to do! Set up the stamps you like, and keep the lighter colors in the background and get darker as you add each layer. Start with the base. Paint a script stamp with tan and press it onto canvas paper.
Punch some holes in scrap card stock to use as a mask. Add red paint to a weave pattern stamp and press over each circle
Next, stamp the flowers with brown paint to the right.
Create a frame by adding yellow paint to a houndstooth pattern stamp. Add paint to the stamp after you stamp each side.
Crop around the picture and add a border along the bottom with the same tan paint as the base script pattern. This will help to tie the colors in.
stamp sentiment with brown ink
add glue over the stamped heart and sprinkle red glitter over it...allow to dry.
add a final border along the bottom to tie in the brown.
to protect the painted canvas panel, place it under a clear plastic sheet. Grab a mouse pad and poke a hole in each corner with a paper piercer or tack.
create custom glittered brads by adding glue to the brad tops and dipping them into brown glitter...allow to dry before poking them through the pierced holes in each corner
embellish with 3 clear buttons.
You can leave off the sentiment and display this mini masterpiece on your wall. It would also make a sweet gift to hang on a front door...just add "welcome"where the sentiment is.
Thansk so much for stopping by today :)
