Square cards are very pleasing to the eye, but ones that open like a tri-fold are just plain FUN! They make great center pieces and provide little "nooks" to add a pocket or pull out message...add some photos maybe? You have 6 sides to work with, so be creative and use some or all sides. Tri-folds (and accordions) make super easy mini album bases as well (wink)

Making a tri-fold card is as easy as combining 2 cards together.
I planned out colors and products each square before I began
I started with the stamping...and added flying butterflies to the letter "o"
and placed it onto a large cut butterfly and added cool pins for the antennas. The patterned paper in the center of the letter helps it stamp out from it's butterfly base.
I stamped a butterfly pattern to the "w" that I turned upside down to use as the second letter "m"
I added it to a circle jurnal spot and embellished it with a flower accent with a fashionable pin
I went with the circular theme and added round letter stickers to the top. I wanted to add a little more color, so I added some accent hearts with 2 Copic markers. I used 2 to blend a color that I was aiming for
lastly I embellished with a punched butterfly with a pearl in the center
Think of other 3 and 5 letter words to create your own unique tri-fold project. They really are a blast to create! Thanks for stopping by.
