Today I have a Memory Box card to share with you; we had temperatures high enough to melt some of our snow cover today, so I'm almost convinced that Spring is coming!
I started with some Memory Box Gossamer papers, along with a piece of the Memory Box Sugar Plum cardstock and a Big Scalloped Petites border die.
Next I stamped the Nesting Birds and Springtime Greetings images in Memento Rich Cocoa ink and die-cut it with a Long Rectangle die, leaving the die in place to act as a mask for my Copic BG34 marker and airbrush system. I did not mask the birds; I sprayed them lightly enough that I knew I would be able to go back in my my clear blender and push the ink out of the way.
Pictured here are the rest of the Copic markers that I used to color the image, and below is the image, colored and slightly distressed on the edges.
I finished with a length of white silk ribbon and some self-adhesive pearls.
That's it--a simple Spring card. Thank you for visiting the CLASSroom today!
