No, I'm not really using nine packs of paper today! Welcome to day nine of the Ellen Hutson Twelve Days of Christmas celebration. I started with some new Memory Box papers, Gossamer, along with a Memory Box stamp, Scripted Bird. I love how well the stamp and papers coordinate in this line. (Ellen does have more Gossamer paper on order and hopefully it will arrive soon.)
I chose three of the Gossamer papers, and I stamped the bird twice, once on a green pattern and once on a light pink pattern. The berries were brown, obviously, so I used some Cotton Candy Stickles to cover the berries.
I trimmed around the bird stamped on the light pink paper and attached him on top of the green layer with foam tape.
The background was such a lovely sheet of paper that I didn't want to add a lot of distracting elements to it; I stitched one simple line around it, attaching it to a dark brown mat layer.
Finally, I added a strip of 1-1/4" wide pink silk ribbon and some buttons from my stash. That's it--new paper, new stamps! Be sure enter today's Ellen Hutson, LLC giveaway, and thanks for visiting the CLASSroom today!

Did you know that Memory Box cardstock and notecards are duplex? (this means that one side is white and the other is color.) Do you prefer notecards with coordinating envelopes or 8 1/2" x 11" cardstock? Also, do you prefer 6"x6" or 12"x12" decorative paper?
