Stamp the Memory Box tree onto pink patterned paper and color each heart with a R21 Copic marker.
Color around the edge of each heart with an RV11 Copic marker
and blend the 2 pink shades with another coat, using the R21 Copic marker
This is what the back side of your paper should look like when complete
Cut down the pink paper and mat onto brown patterned paper that is a 5 x 5 card base. Machine sew around the edge. Then cut a strip of striped paper to 1 x 5...machine sew 2 stitches along the bottom
Use scissors to cut slits and stop before you reach the stitches. Bend up the frills with your fingers to add dimension
draw a cloud shape onto the pink patterned paper and cut the shape out
Use 3 round foam dots and cut them down so that the cloud has even coverage. Add the cloud accent to the top of the card
Stamp the sentiment onto the same white paper and cut it down. Tuck behind some of the faux grass strips. Stamp the tree once again onto pink patterned paper, color like I mentioned above and cut out the small heart and use as an accent. Add brown pearls to the accent heart and tree.
This card can not only be given at Valentine's day but just about any other time of year as well. The tree is a wonderful image to paper piece as well. I hope you have a fabulous holiday. Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by. Hugs to you all.
