We are so excited to reveal brand new products from Inchie Arts - Neutrals!! Inchie Arts has released new Neutrals Inchie Notes and Neutrals Inchie Squares - soft, delicate hues that are rich in color, yet pale enough to stamp on and color!
Inchie Squares consist of the highest grade Alpharag Artcare, 100% cotton, museum-quality archival matboard. Each Inchie Square is four-ply matboard and one-millimeter thick, fade and bleed resistant, and acid free and lignin free. These make a bold statement on any project when used singly or in multiples.
For today's project we arranged three gradient colors from the new neutrals Inchie Squares - pale ivory, pale bisque and a light taupe. For the challenge, try and arrange three Inchie Squares (or one-inch squares) on a simple card, and stretch the image over the three squares.
Memory Box's Bird and Nest image was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink over the gradient arrangement of Inchie Squares.
Using Copic markers the nest was quickly shaded and used BV0000 Pale Thistle to add shadows to the entire image. The wee bitty bird was stamped using Adirondack Cranberry ink.
The edges of the neutral Inchie Squares were inked and blended using Distress Vintage Photo ink and an ink blending tool. The three gradient Inchie Squares were mounted onto pierced Crimson cardstock then a Vanilla Bean layer.
The nest image was stamped again onto Neenah Classic Cream cardstock, colored with the same Copic markers and cut out. Three Basic Grey Opaline Half Pearls were added to the nest, followed by the nest layer mounted on a sliver of foam.
Finished card size is three and half inches square (89mm square).
INCHIE CHALLENGE
