Today's post is a short and simple one. I don't know about you, but the closer I get to Christmas, the more I need to simplify my cards in order to actually finish them. I just got a package of the new Webster's Pages Petite Papers Holiday Collection, as well as a Mona Lisa Vintage Christmas Expressions stamp set. These two pair beautifully to make an easily mass-produced card.
After stamping the sentiment, I die cut it with a Ribbon Tags 2 die, edging the die cut with some distress ink. The Champagne Dew Drops are actually off white; for some reason they have a blue-green cast in the photo--probably from the ribbon.
I used a Spellbinders Create a Flake 2 die to cut the snowflake, and then ran it through a Xyron machine and glittered it with some crystal glitter. (if this snowflake die is temporarily out of stock and you are in a hurry to get started the Snowflake Wonder die set would work the same way.) I did not emboss these since I was coating them with glitter.
The pattern is so pretty on the Webster's Pages mini papers that they make really elegant card fronts. I did just a bit of sewing to frame the card front, and I added a bow. That's it--simple and easily reproducible!
Thank you for visiting the CLASSroom today.
