I think it's fun to create cute door hangs to display on the outside of children's room, plus, they make great gifts! They can also hang from a dresser drawer handle, on your front door or on a wall as home decor. I chose the shorter version of my daughter's name, but rather than names, you can add words like: hello, welcome, keep out etc.
Supplies:
Nestability Dies - Circle, Standard Large
Biscotti Cardstock, Collection (Memory Box)
Basic Grey Buttons, Lime Rickey
Other:
Butterfly Spellbinders Nestability
start with the 3 smallest circle dies
Once each circle is punched out, create a ring by running the dies through the machine once again with the smaller die in the center
You should have 4 colors with each color having 2 different sized rings.
use the small circles to create a loose pattern onto a white 5 x 5 piece of paper.
Cut each ring once
loop them together, making sure to cover the cut with the next ring, giving it a finished look.
create a playful pattern. Cut more rings if you choose to cover the entire piece of paper. Once you are satisfied with the look, crop the paper.
I chose a red accent so that would stand out from the base paper.
I like butterflies to have thin middles, so I cut the die to look the way I like it.
add a button to the center, letter stickers and a handle to complete your project..
Thank you for joining me. Hope you have a wonderful day :)
