Favor boxes...these adorable little packages should not be limited to just parties. Whip some up to have on hand to give to friends, hostesses or even something sweet to hand off to your postal carrier maybe? This favor box would be great for a baby or bridal shower and of course any other occasion that you can think of. Fill them with chocolate, candy, jewelry or a cute mini gift.
Supplies:
Martha Stewart Favor, Scallop Clutch, White
Martha Stewart Baker's Twine, Solids
Adirondack Dye Ink Pad, Pebble
Step one is to add a floral pattern to the 2 longer sides of the box. Ink the backgrounder stamp with Pebble ink and keep the stamp facing up. Press the paper onto the stamp and apply even pressure all around. Repeat on the other side.
Set aside and let's work on the details for a bit. Punch 2 circles from raspberry colored card stock and apply Flower Soft glue to the entire surface.
pour and press Flower Soft onto each circle and allow to dry
once dry, cut off excess flowers. Dab Stickles onto your finger and tap over the flower petals to add a soft glittered look.
Now add Stickles to the flower centers of the Climbing Floral pattern. This product is great for adding color and dimension and the glitter adds such a pretty touch. Allow plenty of time to dry.
stamp "For You" with the Pebble ink color onto one of the box sides. Create a heart shape with Stickles simply by starting with the letter "V" and plumping the tops...allow to dry before assembling the box.
Once you have put the box together, add the Flower circles to the scalloped top. I cut the bottoms of each circle, just a bit. Once you wrap some mauve twine around the top, tie a bow, you are done. Thanks for stopping by :)
