Swirls abound in the Sprout 6x6 paper collection from Memory Box. The Memory Box patterned papers coordinate beautifully and easily with their cardstocks, and taking cue from the swirled paper design brings us to this thank you card project.
Memory Box Cozy Chair image was stamped onto a 6x6 sheet from the Sprout collection and again onto a white cardstock 2" circle (McGill) using brown ink.
Chair was cut out, and edges highlighted with Copic BV000, then pieced onto the stamped white circle. The dainty teacup was also pieced using a scrap of Sprout.
Pieced circle was mounted to a 2-1/2" scallop circle punched (McGill) from more Sprout collection paper using foam dimensionals, then adhered to a Nestabilities circle punched from Vanilla Bean cardstock.
A card base of Cherry Blossom was cut into a curve, and the curve was replicated onto a piece of Sprout paper and adhered, leaving a thin border. 'you're my cup of tea' was stamped with brown ink onto a punched 1-3/8" Sprout paper circle.
Two white cardstock circles and a curved white cardstock scrap were embossed with a cuttlebug and embossing folder, and additional circles were punched from other coordinating Sprout papers. Circles were lightly adhered under the curved card front, and the white cardstock curved scrap was adhered to the card front. All layers were stitched and held into place using a sewing machine, following the curvature.
