Tim Holtz developed a line of clear vinyl masks that will tease you into playing with ink more - since the masks are clear you can see exactly what you are going to get - let's get started!
Today's project features the dandelion image from Kim Hughes (CHF) Silhouette Blooms II and a couple of sheets of patterned paper from Basic Grey's Euphoria 6x6 cardstock pack. Card base is 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" of Memory Box Lagoon.
To begin place Tim's mask, I'm using Flourish here, over Euphoria patterned paper. Using a sponge or Tim's handy inking tool, work desired ink color along the mask (Ranger's Adirondack Watermelon used). Wipe mask clean with a soft towel and remove.
Trim inked patterned paper to desired size, and adhere additional, coordinating patterned paper along with some found lace and satin ribbon (from my stash) to create the card front. I love how by only using a portion of this mask I was able to create my own background - a fun effect and fun to create!
Stamp 'thanks' sentiment in black ink and dandelion with hot pink ink onto white cardstock. Punch out using a 1-3/8" circle punch then adhere to a metal rimmed tag (office supply stores). Add a pink gemstone for a bit of sparkle!
Good luck and best wishes on the tenth day of Christmas!
