"Thinking of you" cards are always good to have on hand . . . they can be used for a number of different occasions. This card began with this great palette of rich colors from BasicGrey's Urban Prairie collection of 6-inch patterned papers. The bird in the paper pattern made me think of Spellbinders' new Nested Bird die. Sweet birdie needed to have something to sit on, so I chose the new Nested Flower die to cut some coordinating papers from the same Urban Prairie collection.
I used the largest two flower dies from this set and my card is 5.25" square, so that should help give you a good idea of the size of the nice, big size of these dies. I popped the flowers and bird up on dimensional foam tape . . . this really gives the card a lot of great dimension and depth.
The card base is Memory Box Lagoon cardstock -- it matches the blue in the paper perfectly! The "Thinking of You" sentiment is from Mona Lisa's Classic Essential Expressions and was stamped with Tsukineko's Tuxedo Black Memento ink on more of the Lagoon cardstock, then die cut with Spellbinders' Double Ended Tags.
Light blue crystal gemstones accent the tag and bird's eye. I lightly sponged Rich Cocoa Memento ink on the bird, tag, largest flower and card edges. Thanks for stopping by today!
