When I first saw this moose in the Kim Hughes Christmas Critters set, I knew that I needed the set. I can almost imagine him raising his eyelids a few times at some passing girl moose!I stamped the moose in Memento Rich Cocoa ink, and then colored it with the Copic markers shown below. (He's fun to color!)
For the background, I was feeling the love for patterned papers and stitching tonight. I chose several patterns from the Basic Grey Wassail pad, as well as a Wassail brad. I used a Fiskars Threading water punch to get a scalloped edge, and the added some red Stickles inside each dot. The holly berries have Ranger Glossy Accents applied for shine, and the moose's eyes have Sakura Black Gelly Roll Glaze pen. I used a vanilla embossing powder for the "Merry Kissmoose sentiment, and then sanded or applied antique linen distress ink to all of the edges. Both the moose's nose and the holly are cut out and raised with foam tape for added dimension. This image was simple to color and a joy to work with.
