A non-crafting neighbor asked if I could create for her a box of tags to dress up blank gift bags. Some folks rarely wrap gifts due to time - and it is so handy to wrap a gift in tissue then place in a bag for a quick gift wrap.
So I created a tin of tags, complete with adhesive, that requires no time-consuming dividers.
For someone that does not craft nor have double sided adhesive within reach like us, this is a handy tin.
First cut a piece of decorative paper (5-1/4" x 3-3/8") to fit the tin bottom, rounding the corners.
Next make a template (this is optional but looks nice) of the adhesive of choice and cover with decorative paper. I used a Kokyuo Dot 'n Roller and created eight tags. If you omitted the buttons and did not use dimensional embellishments you could easily include 20 tags.
Cut or punch tags to size desired. Using dimensional embellishments will restrict the number of tags the tin can hold (it is 1" in depth). These tags (2-3/4" x 3-1/4") were stamped with Kim Hughes Nature Silhouettes using light pink and light orchid dye inks, then dressed up with Basic Grey Euphoria paper and Basic Grey buttons.
The tag size is big enough to write a few quick words, then omit the card if time is super short.
These particular tags are suitable for female gifts - try changing the tag theme to suit your needs - Christmas, Halloween, teacher themed, girly girl, masculine, and so forth. These would make ideal and quick holiday gifts for teachers, neighbors and friends.
