Love the bling on those butterflies, Kim -- wonderful custom paper/card you created!

Super pretty, Kim! Your Eclipse tape would be a PERFECT mask, too. Love how you combined all these patterns (never would have thought of that) to make a beautiful presentation.

Deanna

Gasp, unbelievable!

Absolutely gorgeous! I never would have thought to use those patterns together either but you sure made it work!

I noticed that you used the foam pad instead of the felt. I don't like the felt very much since it seems that most of the ink gets absorbed into the felt and not much on the paper... I have to ink it up frequently. Do you find that the foam pads work better? They are a bit more expensive and I can't find them at my local Michaels (although the felt pads are there as well as the handle). Silly me.. I just realized that you didn't use Tim Holtz's handle. lol But my question still stands. Do you prefer foam over the felt?

Thanks!
Nancy

Stunning!

Thank you for the compliments :)

Nancy...Ellen carries the foam pad in her store: http://www.ellenhutson.com/servlet/the-2825/Cut-dsh-N-dsh-Dry-Stamp-Pad-Foam/Detail

I just cut it down smaller than a 2 x 2 inch square and it works so well when applying a small amount of ink to the edges. I usually only ink edges with black or brown, so I am only using a portion of that large foam sheet. Which is great because I can use that larger portion for other fun techniques (I think it's a great investment personally)

I only use the handle with felt when I am using glossy paper.

Hope that helps...thank you for your question. :)
