Hi, everyone -- we hope you are having fun today, setting aside some time to craft and maybe get started on your holiday cards? Well I hope this challenge might help you with that ... or anything YOU might like to create today, as this is one of my favorite color combos!
I chose some beautiful Memory Box patterned papers to get my creative juices flowing, and paired it with one of Memory Box's latest holiday stamps. This made for an easy color combo for a wintery holiday card!
I selected Memory Box's solid coordinating cardstock colors shown in the color challenge graphic above to match their Dewfrost patterned paper, but you are certainly free to use any manufacturer's similar colors of soft, light robin's egg blue; dark brown & vanilla/cream.
Winter Retreat Dew Drops accent the Twisty Pine tree that was stamped onto a light blue solid pattern from Memory Box's Dewfrost 6x6 paper collection and then mounted to a layer of Natural White cardstock. Machine stitching provides a snowy ground for the tree. Spellbinders Snowflake Wonder die was used to cut patterned paper snowflakes, which were adhered to the Memory Box Vanilla Bean card base. Call me crazy, but I love making brown snowflakes!
We can't wait to see what YOU come up with ... I hope you have a blast participating in the challenges today! Thanks for playing! ~ Sharon
